Position Type: Maintenance/Transportation/Project Manager Date Posted: 1/29/2025 Location: Nye County School District-M&O Date Available: 03/17/2025 Closing Date: Until Filled Additional Information: Show/Hide Description: Project Manager Location: Maintenance and Operations - Pahrump Hours: 8 hours per day, 5 days per week, 12 months per year Funding Source: General Fund Salary Range: $77,688 - $89,573 (Job Description Attached) Job Summary: The Project Manager will work with the Director of Maintenance, Operations, Safety, and Security to oversee public works projects, custodial services, and capital improvement initiatives within the Nye County School District. Additionally, they will manage the procurement, construction, and completion of capital improvement contracts, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Qualifications: Graduation from a regionally accredited university with an Associate's Degree or higher, or the equivalent in related coursework or related job experience Minimum of four (4) years working experience in a building design, maintenance, and/or construction field Minimum of two (2) years experience as a project manager, preferred Valid Nevada Driver License Working Conditions: Desk, computers, and supplies as needed. Various computers, printers, televisions, VRCs, telephones, calculators, copy machines, fax machines, filing cabinets, two-way radios, and other office equipment as necessary to carry out the functions of the position description.
