We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and driven Civil Engineer Project Manager to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects. You will be responsible for managing complex civil engineering projects from inception to completion. This role requires a deep understanding of civil engineering principles and practices, along with a proven track record of project management.
Responsibilities
1. Oversee and manage all phases of civil engineering projects, including planning, design, construction, and maintenance.
2. Coordinate and liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
3. Conduct site inspections and surveys to assess the feasibility and suitability of the construction site.
4. Develop and implement detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
5. Ensure all project activities comply with company and industry regulations and standards.
6. Design and implement effective drainage, erosion control, site paving, grading, and stormwater management systems.
7. Utilize land surveying techniques to measure and map the land for site development.
8. Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure completion within the specified time and budget.
9. Prepare and present project reports and updates to management and stakeholders.
10. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
11. Continuously improve project management methodologies and practices.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
2. Professional Engineer (PE) certification is a must.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering project management.
4. Proven experience in drainage, erosion control, site paving, grading, stormwater management, land surveying, and site development.
5. Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, techniques, and tools.
6. Excellent project management skills, including planning, organizing, and coordinating tasks.
7. Proficient in using project management and civil engineering software.
8. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of staff and external stakeholders.
9. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and act tactically.
10. Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
11. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
