• Position: This position is for 3-4 months project. (May 2025 to September 2025)


• Project Overview:

This project involves setting up and configuring computers for users at U.S. and Mexico locations, with a focus on enhancing security and usability. Tasks include device setup, creating user accounts, applying necessary security restrictions, installing required software, and conducting tests. The project will be executed on-site in New York, with the U.S. and Mexico locations as the main deployment areas. The project manager will regularly report progress to the customer.

• Key Responsibilities:
    1. Project Planning and Coordination:
      • Manage the end-to-end computer setup and configuration process for U.S. and Mexico locations, providing regular progress reports to the customer.
      • Create a detailed project schedule, ensuring key milestones and deadlines are met.
      • Coordinate with teams in the U.S. and Mexico, providing support for task progress and issue resolution.
    1. Team Management:
      • Oversee on-site and remote teams, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and resolving issues as they arise.
      • Provide regular updates to the customer and adjust plans as necessary to meet project goals.
      • In Mexico, coordinate remote setup or local vendor involvement for system installations.
    2. Vendor and Customer Coordination:
      • Work with U.S. and Mexico vendors for hardware procurement and delivery scheduling.
      • Coordinate with local vendors in Mexico regarding the setup process (remote setup or on-site assistance).
      • Facilitate regular meetings with the customer to address feedback and change requests.
    3. Computer Setup and Configuration Oversight:
      • Ensure the preparation of the "work" folder, script execution, and adherence to setup procedures.
      • Oversee disabling of unnecessary services (e.g., OneDrive, OST file creation, Microsoft Store).
      • Manage the creation of local user accounts and network profile configurations.
    4. Quality Assurance and Testing:
      • Lead testing efforts in both U.S. and Mexico locations to ensure configurations are correct.
      • Ensure security settings and restrictions are properly applied.
      • Conduct tests for remote connection tools and verify compliance with security requirements.
    5. Global Device Deployment:
      • Supervise the deployment of 170 devices in the U.S. and 30 devices in Mexico, working with local teams to ensure hardware procurement and setup.
      • For Mexico, coordinate remote setup or engage local vendors for assistance.
      • Ensure all devices are configured as per specifications, with required software and security settings correctly applied.
    6. Final Checks and Delivery:
      • Verify that computers are ready for delivery and meet all setup requirements.
      • Ensure all security settings and software installations are completed.
      • Conduct final testing (e.g., using LogMeIn for remote access) to ensure restrictions and configurations are functioning properly.
    7. Post-Deployment Support and Documentation Management:
      • Provide support for any issues that arise after initial setup.
      • Maintain and share updated asset lists with the customer.
      • Document the setup and security processes to support future improvements.
    8. Risk Management and Problem Solving:
      • Identify risks associated with deployments at U.S. and Mexico locations and work with the customer to implement solutions.
      • Resolve any issues that occur during the setup process quickly and effectively.



• Required Qualifications & Skills:
    1. Experience:
      • At least 3 years of experience managing IT deployment or configuration projects.
      • Extensive knowledge of computer setup, network configuration, and security policies.
      • Experience working with remote teams or cross-functional teams.
    1. Technical Knowledge:
      • Experience with PowerShell scripting, user account management, and software installation.
      • Familiarity with remote access tools (e.g., LogMeIn, TeamViewer).
      • Knowledge of Windows 11 management and security configurations.
    2. Project Management Skills:
      • Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and ensure deadlines are met.
      • Strong communication skills to work effectively with customers and teams.
      • Attention to detail and flexibility in adapting to project changes.
    3. Preferred Qualifications:
      • PMP or equivalent project management certification.
      • Experience working with international teams.
      • Expertise in computer security and system restrictions.
