Project Manager - Permanent - Outreach
Are you an experienced project manager with national engagement expertise? If so, you could help improve patient care through strategic delivery of key projects to support good, safe patient care.
The GMC helps to protect patients and improve medical education and practice in the UK by setting standards for doctors, physician associates (PAs), and anaesthesia associates (AAs). We support them in achieving (and exceeding) those standards, working directly with them and their educators and employers, and take action when they are not met.
The role is based within our Outreach team, which collaborates and engages with a range of stakeholders. You'll have experience communicating with diverse audiences both face-to-face and virtually, and you'll have outstanding relationship management skills at senior levels. We'll provide all necessary training about the health sector to ensure your success in this role.
Summary of the role and background
Applicants are expected to work in either the Manchester or London office, on average one day per week, with flexibility to attend more regularly if preferred. During the induction period or as needed for the project, increased office attendance may be required. Occasional travel to other GMC offices may also be necessary.
Further details on tasks and essential skills for each Project Manager role can be found in the attached job packs.
How to apply for the role
Please submit a CV and covering letter outlining how you meet the essential skills listed in the personal specification, along with a paragraph explaining your motivation for applying. Important: Incomplete applications will not be considered, and your application may be withdrawn if requirements are not met.
