Role Description We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to bring strategic and operational excellence to cross-site, cross-functional teams in the (bio)pharmaceutical and biological development sectors. In this role, you will develop comprehensive project plans, execute critical path analyses, manage risks, and lead scenario planning to deliver operational success. Your leadership and collaboration with project team leaders, project teams and other stakeholders will ensure seamless communication of strategies, decisions, and project dynamics. Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage robust project plans that outline key activities, resource allocation, and budgets required to achieve product approval within scope and on schedule. Drive adherence to strategic objectives and ensure project scope alignment. Proactively manage project risks by leading risk assessments, exploring mitigation options, and creating contingency plans for informed decision-making. Integrate eROI (Return on Investment) considerations into team decisions and effectively communicate them to governance throughout the project lifecycle. Facilitate the Full Development Planning process to gain alignment and commitment from teams and governance. Facilitate essential business processes, such as operating plans, prioritization, budgets, lessons learned, and project close-outs. Contribute to the continuous improvement of Project and Portfolio Management processes and best practices. Provide mentorship and coaching to other project management colleagues as needed. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a scientific or business-related field, Master's degree in a scientific field preferred. PMP or other project management qualification is preferred. At least 3-5 years of project management experience with demonstrated expertise in planning and executing complex projects. High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Project. Strong knowledge of project management tools and methodologies, including Critical Path Management, Risk Management, and Decision Analysis. Proven ability to work independently while building effective relationships across locations and managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent leadership and collaboration skills with a focus on achieving team alignment and commitment. Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to risk management and problem-solving. Effective communicator who can clearly articulate complex scenarios and facilitate informed decision-making.
