A retail services company in New Jersey is looking to fill an immediate need with the addition of a Technical Project Manager to their team. In this role, the qualified professional will be responsible for managing multiple technical projects simultaneously, ensuring that they are completed efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and execution of technical projects from initiation to closure
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to track progress and ensure timely delivery
- Identify and allocate resources required for project execution
- Manage project risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and collaboration
- Communicate project status, updates, and risks to stakeholders regularly
- Conduct project reviews and retrospectives to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement
- Conduct business analysis and evaluate stakeholder requirements as needed
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager or similar role, managing complex technical projects from initiation to closure
- Experience managing retail related projects, such as provisioning POS solutions, digital menu boards, customer self-checkouts, time clocks and software enhancements or implementations
- Experience with business process improvement projects, Service level agreements, and IT support methodologies
- Strong understanding of Project Management methodologies, tools, and techniques
- Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Proggio)
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or other iterative development methodologies
