The base salary listed is a range. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others). In addition to the base salary, this position is eligible for a bonus, providing the opportunity to earn additional compensation.

Position Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for the planning, implementation, execution, and evaluation of short- and long-term projects across many functional areas, to include managing change and delivering against specific timelines, budgets, and outcomes. This role will support new product commercialization activities globally and will work cross-functionally with partner teams to launch new products on schedule. This position is hybrid and on-site 3 days per week in Eden Prairie, MN.

Essential Functions
  • Define project scope & deliverables in collaboration with project team.
  • Create detailed project plans which identify and sequence the activities needed to successfully complete the project.
  • Monitor project progress, adjust as necessary to ensure the successful completion and update project schedules.
  • Establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders on project progress.
  • Review the quality of the work completed with the project team to ensure it meets project standards.
  • Ensure project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality.
  • Ensure all project information is appropriately documented and secured.
  • Complete project debriefs to identify improvement opportunities and best practices.
Qualifications

Minimum Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, animal science or related field.
  • 5+ years project management experience and proven track record of successful project management.
  • Proficiency with project manager tools and software.
  • Experience with internal communications or client management.
  • Experience working with Microsoft 365.
Preferred:
  • PMP Certification and/or Lean Six Sigma certification
  • Product management experience
  • Experience working with Microsoft Teams, Smartsheet, SAP and WordPress content management systems.
Schedule Requirements

The Project Portfolio Manager - Quality is expected to work within core business hours.

Travel Requirements

Minimum travel expected but will vary depending on project needs.
