The role of the Construction Project Manager includes assisting the Senior Project Manager with planning, organization, and management of day to day operations within commercial construction projects. This is a Denver Metro based position.

A national award-winning General Contractor with large commercial construction projects in the Denver Metro area.

Description

The Construction Project Manager is responsible for the following:

  • Assisting the Senior Project Manager with managing commercial building construction projects.
  • Assisting with bidding and attending job walks
  • Analyzing and competitively acquiring subcontractor services and material purchases
  • Updating and enforcing project schedules
  • Coordinating project meetings
  • Keeping project records and documents; managing change orders, acquiring building permits, processing submitals and other necessary project documents
  • Compiling documentation for operation and maintenance manuals, and physically inspecting projects to monitor progress and compliance with project standards.

Profile



The Successful Candidate

Qualifications for the successful candidate include:

  • 5-7+ years of experience as a Construction Assistant Project Manager with a General Contractor.
  • 4 year degree in construction management preferred but not required
  • Ground up experience is preferred
  • Driven, motivated, sharp personality
  • Ability to adapt and learn at in a fast paced environment
