About the Role:
An established and growing engineering firm is seeking a talented Water/Wastewater Engineer to join their Dallas-based team. This is a key opportunity for a professional who is passionate about sustainable infrastructure and wants to contribute to the planning, design, and delivery of water and wastewater systems that serve communities across Texas.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and manage water distribution, wastewater collection, and treatment system projects.
Prepare engineering reports, technical drawings, and construction documents in accordance with industry and regulatory standards.
Support permitting efforts and ensure compliance with TCEQ and other applicable local, state, and federal agencies.
Conduct hydraulic modeling, feasibility studies, and site inspections.
Coordinate with internal teams, clients, contractors, and government stakeholders.
Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables from concept through construction.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or a related Engineering discipline.
PE license in Texas or the ability to obtain it within a reasonable timeframe.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in water/wastewater engineering.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydraulic modeling tools such as WaterCAD or SewerCAD.
Strong communication and project coordination skills.
Familiarity with Texas regulations and permitting processes is highly desirable.
