Capital Expenditure (CapEx) Project Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Capital Expenditure (CapEx) Project Manager to oversee capital improvement projects across our national portfolio of parking facilities and mobility infrastructure assets. This role requires expertise in architecture, project management, and construction management, with a strong emphasis on budgeting, capital oversight, and strategic planning. The ideal candidate will have a background in architecture or a related field, coupled with experience managing large-scale capital projects from conception to completion
Key Responsibilities
- Capital Project Oversight: Manage the planning, budgeting, and execution of capital projects, including renovations, upgrades, and infrastructure expansions across parking facilities.
- Budget & Financial Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial accountability and alignment with corporate investment strategies.
- Strategic Planning & Execution: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and timelines, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Vendor & Contractor Coordination: Oversee RFPs, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships with architects, engineers, and construction firms.
- Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all projects adhere to local zoning laws, building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams, executive leadership, and external partners to align project goals with business objectives.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track project progress, analyze risks, and provide regular updates to senior management and investors.
- Innovation & Sustainability: Identify opportunities for implementing smart parking solutions, sustainable infrastructure, and emerging mobility technologies.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred: University of Cincinnati DAAP or similar).
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in capital project management, real estate development, or construction oversight with a focus on CapEx investments
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of architectural design principles, construction processes, and budgeting methodologies
- Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, Procore, or similar)
- Knowledge of CapEx planning, cost estimation, and financial modeling
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with urban planning, parking facility operations, or mobility infrastructure is a plus.
