We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Project Manager to join our team in the Construction industry. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to manage and guide complex construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing projects from the initial conceptualization stage to final completion, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget and scope. The successful candidate will have a hands-on approach and will be committed to the expansion and success of the business by implementing strategies that increase productivity and enable sales growth.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
- Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring all milestones and deadlines are met.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control measures are in place.
- Lead industrial and commercial building projects, as well as brownfield redevelopment projects.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure project success and profitability.
- Allocate resources effectively and efficiently to ensure project objectives are met.
- Manage contracts and maintain strong relationships with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing risk management strategies.
- Prepare accurate construction estimates and read blueprints effectively.
- Implement and manage safety protocols, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Supervise on-site activities, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard.
- Oversee commercial glass and glass manufacturing processes, ensuring quality control.
- Utilize Autodesk software for project design and management.
- Implement cost control measures to ensure project profitability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in project management within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
- Experience in industrial and commercial building projects, as well as brownfield redevelopment.
- Excellent skills in budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Proficient in contract management and risk management.
- Strong understanding of construction estimating and blueprint reading.
- Proven experience in safety management and site management.
- Experience in commercial glass and glass manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in Autodesk software.
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage and lead teams to success.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable terms.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite.
