Our organization is seeking a dedicated and experienced Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent full-time position, offering the opportunity to contribute to a diverse range of construction projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Civil Engineering, with a focus on AutoCAD, Engineering Design, Hydrology, and Transportation Engineering. With at least 5 years of experience in the field, the candidate will have a proven ability to manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring that all work is performed to the highest standard.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage various civil engineering projects related to construction, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Utilize AutoCAD to design and draft detailed blueprints for construction projects.
  • Apply principles of Engineering Design to create innovative and efficient solutions for complex engineering problems.
  • Conduct Hydrology studies and assessments to understand the impact of water on construction projects, and develop strategies to manage these effects.
  • Participate in Transportation Engineering tasks, including the design and planning of transportation systems within construction projects.
  • Collaborate with other team members, including architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure construction is carried out as per the design and maintaining the highest level of safety and quality.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations, and implement them in your work as appropriate.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree will be considered an advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, specifically in a Civil Engineering role.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, with a strong understanding of Engineering Design principles.
  • Experience in Hydrology and Transportation Engineering.
  • Excellent project management skills, with a proven ability to lead projects from conception to completion.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a creative and innovative approach to engineering challenges.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and standards.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification is preferred.
