We are seeking an experienced and driven Construction Project Manager to lead utility-scale solar Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in renewable energy projects, a proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams, and a commitment to delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities Project Leadership Oversee all aspects of utility-scale solar construction projects, from planning to final commissioning. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, subcontractors, and vendors. Build and maintain effective relationships with project team members and stakeholders. Planning and Execution Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation. Coordinate and monitor the execution of project activities to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards. Identify and mitigate risks to ensure timely and successful project delivery. Budget Management Prepare, monitor, and control project budgets, ensuring alignment with financial objectives. Manage project expenses and approve invoices for subcontractors and vendors. Track cost performance and implement corrective actions when necessary. Team Coordination Lead multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, subcontractors, and field staff. Assign responsibilities, monitor progress, and provide support to ensure team performance. Facilitate regular meetings to discuss project status, address challenges, and align objectives. Compliance and Safety Ensure projects comply with all regulatory requirements, permits, and company standards. Enforce adherence to health and safety protocols across all project phases. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor compliance and address any issues promptly. Reporting and Documentation Prepare and deliver regular project status reports to clients and senior management. Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and change orders. Provide insights and lessons learned to improve future project performance. Quality Assurance Ensure that all construction work meets or exceeds quality standards. Address and resolve quality issues in collaboration with field teams and subcontractors. Coordinate testing, inspections, and commissioning activities. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field. Experience: 5+ years in construction project management, with at least 3 years in utility-scale solar or renewable energy EPC projects. Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software Knowledge: Strong understanding of renewable energy construction, permitting processes, and industry standards. Skills: Exceptional organizational and time management abilities. Strong leadership and team management skills. Effective communication and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Work Environment Primarily Bozeman office-based with frequent visits to construction sites. Exposure to outdoor environments and construction site conditions. Travel required based on project location.
