Overview PROJECT MANAGER (EAGLE 7): Bowhead seeks a Project Manager to support itsrecently awardedEagle contract in Aberdeen, MD. The Project Manager will provide resources to plan, organize, and manage transportation,logistics, maintenance,supplyand personnel in support of Aberdeen Proving Grounds Logistics Readiness Center (APG LRC). The Project Manager mustpossessknowledge, experience and understanding of US Armylogisticsand chain of command. The Project Manager shallbe responsible forall services performed under the task order and shall be thecentral pointof contract (POC) for the customer. Responsibilities Essential functions will include: Provide logistical support in the areas of supply, maintenance, and transportation at APG Installation and surrounding locations identified as off-post support locations under the task order. Willbe responsible forfinancial management, general accounting requirements and quality control plan/processes as they relate to the total logistical responsibility of the task order. Responsible for continuous process improvement (CPI) and quality assurance (including, but not limited to, tracking performance, cost outcomes, CPI awareness training). Attend meetings, briefings, conferences asrequiredfor the customer and employer. Responds to urgent requirements or emergencies at all hours of the day/night and during weekends. Qualified candidates mustpossess: bility toestablishprogramobjectivesor performance goals and assess progress. Ability to gain cooperationin order tocoordinate the work of others and build a cohesive team. The flexibility and capability to adjust work to operational needs and to meet emergency or changing program and/or production requirements. Ability to work with subordinate managers, delegate tasks and authority to those mangers and ensure those tasks are completed satisfactorily. Ability to analyze organizational and operational problems and developtimelyand economical solutions. Qualifications A BA/S degree isrequiredat a minimum however, aMaster'sdegree is preferred, in addition to at least fifteen (15+) years of management experience Mustpossessa minimum of five (5+) years of documented management experience withor in support of, the US Military, during which you managed 40+ personnel both directly and indirectl Must have prior experience withfinancial managementand knowledge of Standard Army Management Information Systems (STAMIS) to include Logistics Modernization Program (LMP), Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A) and Unit Status Report (USR) Must understand ISO and quality management systems Strong organizational skills with the ability toestablishand maintain effective working relationships Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contactsusing excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team Target salary is $90k commensurate with experience. Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
