Title: Project Manager III

Type: Contract
Our client is seeking a Project Manager III who will manage the day-to-day activities of one or multiple business-sponsored projects to deliver the agreed scope, on time, on budget, and to satisfaction of Business Owner.
Key Accountabilities: - Establishes and implements project management processes and PMO methodologies to adhere to high quality standards to meet expectations.
- Manages multiple cross-functional projects of medium to high complexity with significant impact to the organization.
- Capably of managing efforts in traditional waterfall SDLC or where application development is operating in agile scrum or Kanban.
- Create project plans and team task assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts, identifying resource needs.
- Develop and proactively manage detailed issues and risk management plans, change requests, and contingencies.
- Track key milestones, report on status, and adjust project plans according to the needs of the business.
- Record all project details in the PPM tool as required throughout the Project Lifecycle.
- Prepares monthly forecasts for Finance to review and report "planned vs. actual " and budget variances.
- Coordinate communication with all areas of the business that impacts any changes in scope, budget, or resources.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverable.
- Schedule and lead routine and ad-hoc status meetings with all stakeholders validating project status claims continuously manage expectations.
- Manages high visibility mission critical/strategic cross-functional projects as a recognized expert in PM methodologies.
- Collaborates with vendors to clearly articulate project needs, impacts and timelines.
Required Skills: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, other related fields, or equivalent work experience.
- Project Management certification (PMP) or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum is desired.
- 7 or more years of related work experience.
- 5 or more years of experience managing projects.
- Extensive experience in multiple and diverse environments and projects with multiple technologies and functions.
- Capable of managing a diverse and complex suite of projects simultaneously and managing cross-functional projects/project teams.
- Must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices and change management techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.
- Healthcare experience in Commissions and Sales Incentives is a plus.
