Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee the development and implementation of modifications and enhancements to a Medicaid Chip Services Waiver system in Salesforce. The Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of this large-scale project, applying best practices in project management, with a focus on Agile methodologies. This role involves working closely with business and technical teams, managing stakeholder expectations, and ensuring successful project outcomes. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in both leadership and technical capacities, capable of communicating complex technical concepts to both clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities: - Lead project management efforts for the Medicaid Waiver Salesforce Enhancements project, ensuring alignment with business and technical objectives.
- Manage project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and coordination to ensure successful delivery of enhancements to the Salesforce platform.
- Apply industry-standard project management practices and Agile (Scrum) methodology to facilitate project execution and delivery.
- Develop and maintain project artifacts including charters, work plans, status reports, and risk management documents.
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders including business owners, IT teams, and vendors to define project requirements, deliverables, and timelines.
- Provide both technical and operational support during project execution, including on-call assistance when necessary.
- Communicate complex business processes and technical designs to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Lead regular status meetings and provide clear, concise progress reports to leadership and oversight entities.
- Develop and deliver presentations to communicate project status, risks, and outcomes to internal stakeholders.
Required Qualifications: - 7+ years of experience in project management for large-scale enterprise implementations.
- 7+ years of experience in State or Federal project management, including managing cross-functional teams and aligning with regulatory requirements.
- 7+ years of experience working with Salesforce platforms, with a focus on enhancements and system modifications.
- Strong experience in applying Agile methodologies, including Scrum, within project teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and resources efficiently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience with State of Texas project delivery frameworks or similar federal/state project delivery models.
- 4+ years of PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
- 3+ years of experience working in Agile (Scrum) environments.
- 3+ years of experience with ACP or Scrum Master certification.
- 1+ year of experience in state procurement and contracting processes.
- 1+ year of experience using Jira or similar project management tools for tracking and managing Agile workflows.
- 1+ year of experience with Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools for managing multiple projects within an organization.
