PROJECT MANAGER Heavy Industry
Were looking for a Project Manager with Heavy Industry experience for our client in the greater Philadelphia area. This position reports directly to the Director of Engineering & Maintenance.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

•  5+ years of project management in a manufacturing environment.

•  Experience in a manufacturing & technical engineering role

•  Strong Analytical, problem-s olving, Delegation, Conflict Resolution, Motivational , & team-building skills.

•  Leadership experience for Projects & People.

•  Experience in a continuous process, such as aluminum extrusion production

•  experience with aluminum casting, extrusion and fabrication processes is a plus.

•  Ability to work in a complex, fast-paced manufacturing environment, managing multiple priorities.

•  Experience leading/supervising small teams.

•   Energetic & the ability to walk throughout the plant as needed.

EDUCATION: Bachelors degree in electrical, mechanical, chemical, manufacturing, or industrial Engineering
SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE: CAD software MS Office MS Project
RESPONSIBILITIES Include :

•   Responsibility for developing and executing project plans related to plant - wide manufacturing technology upgrades and installations, as well as large - scale facility improvement projects.

•   Responsible for providing direction, guidance, motivation & development to project engineering personnel to achieve established capital investment project goals within Safety, Environmental, Quality, Governance and ISO 9001 standards.

•  Develop, manage and maintain up-to-date MS Project Timelines inclusive of all critical milestones, key interdependencies and resource constraints, applying appropriate project scheduling techniques.

•  Collaborate with all impacted departments to validate project requirements, equipment specifications and solicit all approvals in accordance with the Company s Governance, Project Approval and Requisition approval levels.

•  Communicating and collaborating with engineering staff, manufacturing staff, and external partners to coordinate design changes, production schedules, and project milestones.

•  Managing project work and resources to achieve assigned goals and deliverables within budget and timeline.
