Project Manager/Estimator with Restoration Experience

Project Manager Responsibilities
- Sales
- Attending and actively participating in trade shows
- Following up on cold, warm, and trade show leads
- Setting up and breaking down for trade shows
- Cold calling, door knocking
Estimates
- Establish relationships and trust with customers and properties
- Attend all new job walks
- Respond to all new job emails and calls
- Answer calls from customers in a timely manner
- Read blueprints and documents as necessary to prepare estimate
- Document future job sites with measurements and pictures
- Provide an accurate estimate
- Evaluate profit of job and cost of job
- Stay in touch with the customers and office
- Advise property managers and maintenance crews
- Adjusting estimates and scopes to fit customers needs and budgets
- Cost research
Project Management
- Find subcontractors as needed
- Check quality of work on subs and in house guys
- Provide pictures, schedule, estimate, and any pertaining details to the office
- Communicate and make sure satisfaction is met with customers
- Research stores for best prices on materials
- Manage job scope and technician progress
- Submit change orders to the customers
- Approve all customer invoices
- Attend and participate in production and safety meetings
- Assist with billing, change orders, and invoices
- Follow up with job completion and satisfaction of the customer
- Acquiring Permits if required
- Pre construction walks with customer and superintendent
- Send pre schedule email with pics and scope of work for every single job
- Coordinate scheduling in house, on site, and subcontractors
Operations
- Collaborate with department leaders to create processes and procedures
Requirements for Project Manager
- At least 5yr. experience in the restoration industry
- At least 2yr. experience as project manager
- Experience using Xactimate
- Proven Project Management success
- Strong time management skills
- Effective communicator both verbal and written
- Must have the drive to serve their community
