Position Specific Description
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our Pricing Solutions Team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in preparing tools, solutions and products. The role requires a person experienced with solving complex business problems spread across multiple business units. The . The Project Manager make technical decisions and impact product development.
Day to day responsibilities include leading and preparing tools, solutions and products, the development of pricing models, and evaluating new technological innovations in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare tools, solutions and products, including conceptual, preliminary, and definitive estimates for new and existing projects.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to gather and analyze requirements other information to prepare tools, solutions and products.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans to account for potential project uncertainties.
• Present plans, estimates and value engineering options to senior management, project stakeholders to assist with project planning and approval.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and ensure the best value for the company.
• Track project costs and variances throughout the project lifecycle, updating estimates as necessary to reflect changes in scope, design, or market conditions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements in all estimating activities
Job Overview
This position is responsible for the overall management of the team and assigned projects, to ensure compliance within required budgetary, scheduling, and safety goals. Employees in this role coordinate and manage construction work performed by contractors and/or vendors at the project site. Employees in this role manage the engineering, procurement and construction oversight-activities necessary to develop, license/permit, erect, start-up, and commence commercial operations.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Works collaboratively with resources in various disciplines to determine project priorities and work plans
• Meets corporate objectives with limited project management, scheduling and estimating resources
• Manages department resources to provide effective early-stage project development support
• Ensures projects are efficiently, effectively and safely implemented in accordance with department procedures and policies
• Manages walk down of planned work, validates acceptance of completed work to design requirements, approves contractor payment requests
• Verifies constructability, ensures proper resource allocations, assesses field status and resolves issues as needed
• Leads project meetings and reviews budget, risk tracker, and contingency allocations
• Interfaces with project's designated management committees, or acts as Executive Director of project activities
• Supervises activities and/or coordinates activities or groups, such as safety programs, engineering, construction, budget, and analysis and contract administration
• Oversees commissioning activities to meet corporate objectives, with limited project management, scheduling and estimating resources
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
