Based in Newport News, VA, the company specializes in Federal Department of Defense projects, military schools, and equipment warehouses across the DMV area. With annual revenues exceeding $188.5 million, they are finishing up a strong 2024 and heading into a promising 2025, supported by a robust pipeline of projects.
Description
The Project Manager - DoD, USACE, NAVFAC, Barracks - Arlington, VA will be responsible for:
- Managing the planning, execution, and completion of projects to achieve organizational objectives.
- Establishing clear project scope, goals, and deliverables to ensure alignment with stakeholder expectations.
- Facilitating communication between teams, clients, and stakeholders to keep all parties informed and involved.
- Developing comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource management.
- Tracking project progress, identifying risks, and implementing strategies to minimize potential issues.
- Ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and specifications through thorough quality control.
- Conducting regular status meetings to provide progress updates and gather stakeholder feedback.
- Ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within budget while maintaining excellent client satisfaction.
Profile
The Project Manager - DoD, USACE, NAVFAC, Barracks - Arlington, VA will have:
- Proven history of successfully managing projects, preferably in a related industry or environment.
- Degree in project management, construction, engineering, or a comparable field.
- Strong communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders, including team members, clients, and executives.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, promoting collaboration and a positive work culture.
- Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple projects, deadlines, and resources effectively.
- A proactive approach to identifying challenges and quickly developing efficient solutions.
- Familiarity with project management software, tools, and industry-specific technologies.
- Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial oversight to maintain projects within budget.
- Adaptability to shifting project requirements and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to ensure successful project completion.
