What You'll Be Doing - Develop detailed project plans encompassing timelines, budgets, and risk assessments to ensure successful project execution.
- Align projects with strategic goals and define essential deliverables for each phase, maintaining clarity and focus.
- Collaborate with both internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth integration of project components.
- Oversee the design and rollout of advanced digital communication networks including LTE, 5G, 6G, Wi-Fi, and fiber optic systems.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines throughout project lifecycles.
- Identify potential risks proactively, implementing strategies to mitigate them and adjust plans as necessary to minimize business disruptions.
- Provide consistent project updates, conduct thorough post-project evaluations, and capture valuable lessons learned for continual improvement.
- Create and maintain a performance system that identifies deviations from the designed and installed digital network infrastructure.
What Are We Looking For - A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Project Management, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience managing complex infrastructure or technology projects, ideally within the mining or industrial sectors.
- Experience with industrial IoT, network infrastructure design, and familiarity with autonomous systems.
- Strong knowledge of digital network technologies, including LTE, 5G, 6G, Wi-Fi, and fiber optic systems.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project or Primavera, coupled with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding communication and leadership abilities, with prior exposure to mining operations or similar industries.
- Preferred certifications include PMP and relevant network qualifications.
