Job summary

The Project Manager, BI and Analytics Delivery will manage the execution of data and analytics projects and solutions, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery that drive value throughout the organization. This leader will maintain a critical relationship between the business, IT and Analytics teams, in partnership of collaboration and transparency.

Primary Responsibilities

  • BI and Analytic Initiatives: Partner with SMEs to design the end-to-end project planning and execution of enterprise analytics priorities.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project objectives, scope, timelines and success criteria in alignment with key stakeholders. Must have excellent communication skills, with ability to work closely with business and technology partners to understand their needs.
  • Project Management: Oversee the execution of multiple projects related to data, analytics and BI projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, on budget and adhering to quality standards. Manage day-to-day project schedule, deliverables, and resources, coordinating with cross-functional teams including executive leadership, technology, legal, compliance, human resources, marketing, and business units. Lead project planning and milestone delivery. Identify potential risks.
  • Communication: Lead and facilitate effective project and stakeholder team working sessions to identify requirements, impacts and resource requirements. Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues. Understand and represent the data and analytics strategy and delivery team in meetings.
  • Resource Allocation: Partner in the planning and identification of resources to ensure successful project delivery. Develop and manage budgets as needed.

Knowledge, Skills & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Technology or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience managing data and analytics initiatives/projects
  • PMP or similar project management certification
  • Understanding of data management, data governance and analytics best practices
  • Familiarity with data and analytics tools and platforms (e.g., SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI)
  • Adept in leveraging relationships to enhance business outcomes
  • Strong conflict resolution with ability to navigate interpersonal dynamics
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, client-centric environment
