Overview of the Role

Are you a dynamic and experienced Project Manager looking to make a significant impact? We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team and oversee the delivery of our strategic roadmap. In this critical role, you will manage all work streams to ensure the successful implementation of our initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to drive project execution and achieve business objectives.

What You Will Do
  1. Strategic Roadmap Delivery: Lead the implementation of our strategic roadmap by developing and executing detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
  2. Project Planning and Execution: Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria. Develop work breakdown structures, identify critical milestones, and establish project schedules. Monitor progress, identify risks, and proactively address issues to ensure timely completion of all initiatives.
  3. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, manufacturing, sales, marketing, and finance, to coordinate project activities, gather inputs, and ensure alignment across departments.
  4. Stakeholder Management: Identify project stakeholders, establish relationships, and manage their expectations. Provide regular project updates, escalate issues as necessary, and ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
  5. Risk Management: Identify project risks, assess their potential impact, and develop risk mitigation strategies. Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle. Implement contingency plans when necessary.
  6. Reporting and Documentation: Prepare comprehensive project status reports, including progress updates, key milestones achieved, risks, and issues. Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and post-project evaluations.
Required Skills to Be Successful
  1. Strong presentation skills, with the ability to develop clear, structured, and visually engaging presentations tailored to different audiences.
  2. Proven experience in stakeholder management and negotiation to ensure alignment and commitment.
  3. Proficiency in Power BI or similar data visualization tools, especially for tracking and communicating project performance.
  4. Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  5. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  8. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  9. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
About The Team

You will be part of the Operations team at FAMCO, working closely with the Head of Strategy & Operations and a Business Analyst. Our team is dedicated to driving inter-departmental synergy and communication effectiveness, ensuring the successful delivery of business projects, and continuously improving operational processes.

What Equips You for the Role
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a Project Manager in the consulting, industrial equipment, or manufacturing industry.
  3. Behavioral competencies include adaptability, effective communication, continuous self-improvement, innovation, result-orientation, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
