In essence the Project Manager, or PM, is responsible for organizing and leading a team in completing projects within the timeframe and resources assigned to achieve the set business goals. Duties include doing cost analysis, obtaining project proposals, coordinating vendor due diligence, risk assessments, project plans and deliverables. The PM will also advocate for resources and other requirements to ensure project success. Communication, monitoring and reporting as essential duties to keep stakeholders abreast of the progress and/or any issues that may impact the project. Position Responsibilities: Manages and oversees the Bank's special projects and tasks under the direction of Senior Management Evaluates existing online and mobile banking products/services and delivery channels for enhancements driven by business goals, competitive pressures and revenue opportunities, and identifies opportunities for enhancements, considering changes to digital channels Collaborates with groups and individuals within the Bank to gather and define business requirements; partners with technical teams to evaluate and coordinate solutions; participates in user acceptance testing; and brings new enhancements and products to technical readiness. Leads in developing project plans, action plans, presentations, project closure memos, development of training material, communications and other information related to the project. Analyzes operating practices and processes as well as related systems and makes recommendations to improve workflow, simplify reporting procedures, improve productivity, efficiency and reduce costs. Engages the right compliance, IT and Security resources to ensure adherence with applicable state and federal laws, rules and regulations. Assumes responsibility for special projects. Ensures projects stay on track and meet business timelines and milestones. Assists with setting target metrics to measure success. Keeps abreast and aware of financial industry status and trends, changes in customer preferences and new digital banking products and services. Provides regular updates to senior management and stakeholders. Gathers data and prepares reports for Senior Management, auditors/examiners and others as needed.
