Sound like a familia you're ready to join? Here's the details on what we are looking for in this position:

You'll play a key role in keeping projects on track by helping with:
  • Project Scoping: Partner with the Project Manager to kick off new projects, using tools like estimates, budgets, and preliminary work order requests.
  • Kickoff & Planning: Help schedule project kickoff meetings and coordinate with other departments and disciplines involved in the work.
  • Design Phase (IFB & IFC): Work closely with engineers to track design progress, assist with material and service requisitions, and prepare work order authorization packages.
  • Construction Support: Take notes during weekly construction calls, manage project change requests, document RFIs and non-conformance reports.
  • Project Closeout: Use a closeout checklist to make sure all loose ends are tied up, documented, and shared with the right people before wrapping up the project.
  • Collaboration: Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders and provide support to multiple Project Managers.
  • Tracking & Reporting: Keep tabs on work order audits and help manage and close purchase orders.
Knowledge & Skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively

  • A proactive approach to learning and problem-solving
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint, Teams)
  • A willingness to learn about the Utilities/Energy industry (if you're not already experienced in it)
  • Bachelor's degree or 0-3 years of experience in project management or a related role
  • Valid driver's license

Additional Preferred Skills:
  • B.S./B.A./M.S. in Business, Project Management, Engineering, Engineering/Construction Management, Communications, or a similar field
  • Coursework or certifications in Project Management, Facilities, or Construction Management
  • CAPM Certification
  • Familiarity with project management processes and tools
  • Experience with systems such as Oracle, Primavera (P6), SAP, GIS, procurement, materials management, forecasting, or engineering tools
  • Prior work experience in the Utilities or Energy industries
  • OSHA 10 certification
