Position Summary

Job Description:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Project Management Adjunct Faculty to teach face-to-face undergraduate and/or graduate-level courses. The instructor will deliver engaging and practical instruction aligned with industry standards, including PMI frameworks. Responsibilities include preparing course materials, facilitating class discussions, assessing student performance, and supporting learners in achieving academic success. The ideal candidate will bring real-world project management experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to student learning.

Outcome:
Hiring an adjunct faculty member to teach MGT410 Project Management and possibly other project management courses.

Essential Functions
  • Teach face-to-face undergraduate project management classes as needed by the department. May also have opportunities to teach graduate classes. The specific courses will vary from semester to semester and the availability of courses to teach depends on the needs of the department
  • Prepare course materials, assess student performance, and provide timely feedback to students.
  • Communicate effectively with and support students, which includes making use of our learning management system.
  • Adjunct faculty who are teaching courses are required to hold one office hour on campus each week.
  • Experience and Education Required

    Master's degree in Project Management, Business, or a closely related field (doctorate preferred).

    Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Professional project management certification (e.g., PMP) strongly preferred.
  • Prior teaching or training experience at the college level preferred.
  • Practical experience managing projects across various industries.
