About the Opportunity:
• Job Title: Project Lead Technician
• Pay Rate Range: $55,000-65,000/Salary
• Location: Fridley, MN
• Schedule: 1st Shift, M-Th, 5:30am - 3-30pm (2 days in the office, 2 days' Work from Home), O/T may be required as needed.
• Position Type: Direct Hire Project Lead Technician Requirements and Qualifications:
  1. 2-5 years of related experience in electronic assembly, project management, technical writing, or continual improvement.
  2. Knowledge of drawings, schematics, and industry standards (such as IPC-620).
  3. Experience with determining the clearest and most logical way to present information for greatest reader comprehension.
  4. Self-motivated and driven.
  5. Willingness to continually embrace personal and professional development.
  6. Ability to lift 50lbs.
  7. Experience with Microsoft Office Suit (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
  8. Must be able to pass Drug Screening and Background Check.
  9. Familiarity with terminal, crimpers, or Zuken Harness Builder is a plus.
Project Lead Technician Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Coordinating technical engineering initiatives to ensure projects can be completed within budget and according to the schedule, while upholding project standards and quality.
  2. Supervise current projects and coordinate all team members to keep workflow on track.
  3. Managing 2-3 Direct Reports.
  4. Managing the development and executing of customized content by understanding the design the customer is seeking and translating it into manufacturable work.
  5. Making effective decisions when presented with technical hitches or multiple options for how to progress with a project.
  6. Troubleshoot problems are associated with the manufacturing process.
  7. Review production costs, schedules, and future production requirements to assist management in decision making.
  8. Review and/or copy edit content developed by other team members of the team.
  9. Adjusting schedules and targets on projects as needs change.
  10. Ensure validity of methods used by staff.
  11. Commuting to Amery WI, few times per week to oversee projects.
