Job Description
Danfoss Turbocor is the pioneer and market leader for oil-free centrifugal compressors and is transforming the commercial HVAC chiller market with highest efficiency through innovative technology. Our company is dedicated to the design, manufacture, and support of the world's most efficient commercial HVAC compressors.
This internship will provide the intern with professional internship experience in preparation for their future career development. This will be accomplished by learning how to manage projects, work in a business environment, work in a cross functional team, create project plans, create reports, complete tasks, drive action, and assist Change Control Process. During the internship, the intern will be mentored by the Project Manager within the Project Management Office, focused on development and implementation of product design improvements.
Job Responsibilities
Essential Functions, Key Tasks, & Responsibilities: (include the following, other duties may be assigned)
o Support Project Managers in the creation, execution, and maintenance of engineering projects.
o Assist in creation and management of project schedules, budgets, and documents.
o Follow up with project team members to drive completion of work to deadlines.
o Support project status and engineering testing report creation and analysis.
o Support the improvement of business processes and tools.
o Assist project teams with cross-functional responsibilities as needed to ensure successful project execution.
o Other business and project activities as needed by the Continuous Improvement Office.
o Shadow Team Leads and Supervisor to Develop Leadership Skills.

Education and/or Experience
o Working toward Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in Engineering or STEM
o Availability to work 40 hours/week during the summer semester and 20 hours/week during the Spring/Fall semester. Business hours are M-F 8-5.
