Project Engineer / Mechanical Design

Salary Range: $100K - $140K Permanent Position with Benefits A growing Northeast, Ohio area Industrial Equipment Design and Build Firm seeks a Senior Level Project Engineer who is capable of managing product design from cradle to grave to include assigning and overseeing engineers and technical personnel. The Project Engineer is responsible for reviewing customer specifications ensuring that products meet or exceed customer needs and satisfy all applicable codes and engineering standards. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Mechanical design or project management experience. Experience with one or more of the following compressor types: Centrifugal, Reciprocating, Rotary, Scroll and / or Screw. Experience with pressurized vessels, rotating equipment, pumps, pumping systems, plumbing, piping, valves, weldments, and steel, aluminum and sheet metal fabrication. Design software in 2D & 3D: AutoCAD, Inventor, and / or SolidWorks. Must be capable of managing the development of products Responsible for providing project guidance, create product specifications, oversee the generation of technical drawings, review and approve piping / plumbing and instrumentation (P&ID) drawings, provide Bill of Materials (BOM's) including spare part lists. Provide engineering support to sales, marketing, manufacturing, purchasing, supply chain, field service and more.
