Come join our growing facility in Connecticut that has been around for over 30 years. We specialize in injection molding and pad printing for the medical, industrial, and military industries. We are actively growing our company and would like to bring someone on board who has a passion for building cutting edge systems.

Position Overview: The Project Engineer is responsible for making sure all customer requirements are met. This consists of communication, project management, tool design, manufacturing, quality, and delivery for projects & tooling. They will also be responsible for maintaining a good relationship and building new relationships with customers as well as Vendors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate project updates with customers, from project status to delivery, to project requirements.
  • Review mold and tool designs to improve the quality of manufacturing results.
  • Review designs for new tooling, customer change notices, gages, fixtures, and jigs.
  • Make sure all Molding projects are in a timely fashion.
  • Aid in the development and implement manufacturing / engineering programs to improve overall operations.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Project Engineering or related field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in Project Engineering or related field.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing
  • Ability to lead and coordinate process improvement projects and initiatives.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
