Exxelia is a global leader in the design, development, and manufacturing of high-performance electronic components. We are seeking a highly motivated Project Engineer to drive the design and development of custom film capacitor solutions while managing projects from conception to production. This role combines technical expertise with project management responsibilities, ensuring efficient execution, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and alignment with customer requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, project leadership, and product design.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Work directly with customers to understand technical requirements and develop tailored capacitor solutions.
- Conduct design reviews, incorporate feedback, and optimize designs for manufacturability and testability (DFM/DFT).
- Coordinate with Design Engineers to address and resolve design-related challenges during prototyping and production phases.
- Lead and manage projects from concept through completion, ensuring alignment with company objectives, budgets, and timelines.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, defining key milestones, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure project goals are met.
- Monitor and report project progress, identifying potential risks and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, product quality, and workflow optimization.
- Utilize project management tools and methodologies to streamline reporting and communication.
- Facilitate regular meetings to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure project alignment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related Natural Science field.
- Experience in project management, preferably within electronics manufacturing or a related industry.
- Proficiency in design and simulation software, such as SolidWorks, a plus.
- Basic understanding of electronic components, circuit design principles, and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of supply chain logistics, quality control, and manufacturing best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work closely with customers to develop customized solutions.
