About The Role

As a Project Engineer, you will be based on a project site (live on-site role), repairing generators from 300kVA+ and other equipment, providing onsite service to customers. Your responsibilities include diagnosing machine damage, maintaining accurate service and maintenance records, and communicating effectively with Line Managers and Customers.

You will work alongside colleagues as a team player, taking pride in maintaining high standards and complying with company procedures. This is a live on-site role on a rotation basis, with accommodation and a service van provided.

To succeed as a Project Engineer, you should have:

  • Extensive experience with synchronised generators 300kVA+ and associated switchgear
  • Strong electrical and mechanical power generation knowledge
  • Qualifications such as BS7671, C&G 2391, and lockout/tagout training
  • Preventative maintenance planning and reporting experience
  • A safety-conscious and process-driven approach
  • Effective communication skills and team spirit
  • Ability to produce basic monthly generator performance reports
  • Willingness to work in remote locations
