We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Engineer to join our team. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of project engineering, from creating RFI to project setup and closeout. You will also play a key role in maintaining job costs and providing expert construction estimating.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate all engineering work throughout the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning to project closeout.
• Prepare, review, and approve RFIs, ensuring that all information is accurate and comprehensive.
• Provide detailed construction estimating, including labor, materials, and equipment costs.
• Oversee project setup and closeout, ensuring all project requirements are met and all necessary documentation is completed.
• Maintain accurate job costs, monitoring expenses and making necessary adjustments to keep the project within budget.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure all project goals are met.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve any potential project risks or issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure all project work is conducted in accordance with company standards and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project engineering, with a focus on construction estimating and project management.
• Strong understanding of RFI creation, project setup and closeout, and job cost maintenance.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve project issues and risks.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex project information to various stakeholders.
• Proficient in the use of project management software and other relevant computer applications.
• Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
