Job Summary
The Project Engineer will play a key role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects. You'll work closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing day-to-day operations on commercial job sites
- Review and process RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings
- Maintain project documentation, logs, and schedules
- Support procurement activities and subcontractor coordination
- Conduct site visits for quality control and schedule tracking
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors
- Participate in project meetings and assist in preparing reports
- Assist with project closeout tasks and punch list items
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
- 0-5 years of experience in commercial construction or relevant internship experience
- Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites in the area
