POSITION PURPOSE: Responsible for project development engineering & operations activities, from first site visit through implementation to start up and commissioning, including: ELG Process.
PRIMARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:Oversee all facets of ELG commissioning, data/lab setup and operationsBenchmarking of current site operating costsAnalysis of opportunities for technical and operational improvementsDevelopment of SOP's and Procedures Costing of capital projects with and without external contractorsCosting of operation and maintenance componentsTechnical / cost modelingPreparation of Technical Sections of Client proposalsSupport Business Development with Client presentationsInterface with other Group experts, including within Veolia Water North America, Veolia Environmental Services, VWT, VWTS and external contractors and consultants, etc.Develop and manage external technical relationships with consultants, contractors, suppliers, manufacturers, etc.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENTSome work will include the ability to work outdoors in inclement weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, etc.)

Education / Experience / Background:- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental or Electrical Engineering with a concentration in water & wastewater systems and controls
- 5 - 7 years' experience in the technical development or operations.
- Experience of working across various sectors. Ability to bring innovative services solutions.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:- Background in industrial water/wastewater.
- Working knowledge of modeling software.
- Operational experience, not solely a theorist.
- Google & Microsoft office products including Office, Excel, etc.
- Motivated and dynamic person with ability to work independently and part of a team.
- Resourceful and proactive person who enjoys working on a small team.
- Experienced and self-sufficient engineer with knowledge of multiple water treatment systems.
Required Certification / Licenses / Training:- Degreed Engineer.
- Engineer Management Professional (PMP) optional.
- Certified Energy Manager (CEM) optional.
- Trained in designing, building and operating multiple water/wastewater systems
