Our client, an AMLAW global powerhouse, is looking for a mid-level associate with (4+) years of experience in drafting and negotiating commercial and project development agreements (PPAs, VPPAs, tolling, terminalling, AMAs, LNG SPAs, JOAs, LLCAs, JVAs, etc.) to join the firm's infrastructure practice group in Houston.
The ideal candidate will understand energy regulatory and operational experience and be familiar with various industry forms and practices (eg, AIEN, BIMCO, ISDA, NAESB), including the drafting, negotiating, and enforcing of parent guarantees, letters of credit, and other forms of performance security. Candidates must have (4+) years of relevant transactional law firm or in-house experience, and be admitted to the Texas bar, or have the ability to become admitted. A hybrid working environment, top-of-the-market compensation, and Chambers-rated practice are needed.
