Job Summary:The Project Coordinator aids in the management of renovation and reconstruction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating information between various design groups and ensuring that renovations are completed efficiently and effectively while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Coordinate and aggregate information between various design teams and owner's representatives
- Collaborate with stakeholders including franchise owners, contractors, designers, and suppliers to coordinate project scope and timelines
- Develop detailed project schedules that outline phases, milestones, and resource allocation
- Streamline and expedite the submission of permit applications for projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations
- Ensure compliance with corporate standards throughout the renovation process
- Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary to meet goals and deadlines
- Schedule, coordinate and attend intermittent or kick off only site visits
- Address and track resolutions of project-related issues, conflicts, or unexpected challenges
- Maintain clear and proactive communication with all team members and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
Required Skills and Abilities:- Strong knowledge of construction processes, methodologies, and best practices
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent)
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to learn, implement and stay up to date with changes to program standards
- Ability to travel to various job sites as needed
Education and Experience:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Construction Management, Project Management, Business Administration or a related field
- Previous project management experience, preferably in the fast food or retail renovation sector
- Valid Virginia driver's license is required
