SCHEDULE

Full Time Employment expectations - 4 days per week in office minimum, 1 day remote


GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

A Project Architect with AOA is responsible for the complete development and delivery of architectural projects. Expectations include the coordination of all project efforts, administrative and technical, to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects. Serves as the primary client liaison to bring the schedule, budgets, and scope of work to completion and to the client's satisfaction. Compensation will be dependent upon experience.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Fully Develop Architectural design and documentation solutions

Collaborate with consulting engineers and other design professionals

Ability to perform QA/QC reviews

Present design solutions to clients and internal team

Adherence to deadlines without sacrificing content quality and accuracy

Provide creative solutions with Budget constraints

Collaboration with AOA Design team

Establish and manage internal team tasks and milestones


QUALIFICATIONS

8+ years of professional experience minimum

Completed project types: Themed Entertainment, Public Assembly, or Hospitality

Licensure Preferred

Knowledge of Building and Accessibility codes

NAAB-accredited degree

Software experience in Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud (BIM 360)

Clash Detection and Resolution Experience

Design experience from Concept to Construction documents

Knowledge of Building systems, construction methods, and Technical Detailing

Knowledge of Technical Specifications

Presentation experience

Excellence with Time and Task Management
