LHH is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Project Administrative Assistant for a wonderful construction company in Alpharetta, GA. This candidate will join the operations team on a contract basis. This is an entry-level administrative role ideal for someone with strong data entry skills and a can-do attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the project team and Project Assistants
  • Organize and label project drawings (some lifting up to 20 lbs may be required)
  • Review construction drawings and input data to create panel schedules for project closeouts (approx. 10 projects)
  • Prepare and send FedEx shipments, including generating shipping labels
  • Coordinate lodging for traveling electricians (eg, lodging bookings for 3-4 bedrooms)
  • Code receipts and expenses to the appropriate job numbers
  • Enter job codes for expense tracking and project accounting
  • Perform general office duties, including document management and scheduling

Qualifications

Must-Haves:

  • Strong data entry and administrative skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Comfortable using FedEx shipping systems (training provided)
  • Dependable and organized with excellent attention to detail

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Previous experience in a construction office or project administration environment is a plus, but not needed.
