LHH is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Project Administrative Assistant for a wonderful construction company in Alpharetta, GA. This candidate will join the operations team on a contract basis. This is an entry-level administrative role ideal for someone with strong data entry skills and a can-do attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the project team and Project Assistants
- Organize and label project drawings (some lifting up to 20 lbs may be required)
- Review construction drawings and input data to create panel schedules for project closeouts (approx. 10 projects)
- Prepare and send FedEx shipments, including generating shipping labels
- Coordinate lodging for traveling electricians (eg, lodging bookings for 3-4 bedrooms)
- Code receipts and expenses to the appropriate job numbers
- Enter job codes for expense tracking and project accounting
- Perform general office duties, including document management and scheduling
Qualifications
Must-Haves:
- Strong data entry and administrative skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Comfortable using FedEx shipping systems (training provided)
- Dependable and organized with excellent attention to detail
Nice-to-Haves:
- Previous experience in a construction office or project administration environment is a plus, but not needed.
