Job Details

We're hiring a Project Accountant to support job cost tracking, billing, and project financials across a portfolio of commercial construction projects.

Responsibilities:

Manage job cost tracking, budget updates, and cost code allocations across active projects
Process subcontractor invoices, lien waivers, and vendor payments in coordination with project teams
Prepare and submit monthly owner billings, including AIA documentation and backup
Reconcile project costs and support monthly forecasting and reporting cycles
Assist with new project setup, change order tracking, and closeout documentation
Collaborate with project managers, field staff, and executive leadership to maintain accurate and timely financial records
Support internal audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and contract terms

Requirements

3+ years of experience in project accounting or construction job cost accounting
Proficiency with Sage 100 Contractor preferred
Familiarity with AIA billing and construction contract documentation
Procore experience is a plus
Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple deadlines across projects in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills and a team-first mindset
