Programs Assistant Administrator

E11D CAP Annual Salary $71,881.89 + Full State Employee Benefits

Travel is occasional. Must possess a valid driver's license and must maintain required care insurance.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master's degree and three years of professional experience
  • OR a Bachelor's degree and four years of professional experience
  • OR an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of professional level experience for each year of the required education.
No substitution will be allowed for the required professional supervisory, managerial, consultative or administrative experience.

Job Responsibilities:

Under administrative guidance, develops, implements, directs, and supervises multiple operational functions of the statewide Medicaid Services Unit (MSU), with specific emphasis on Member Relations. Supervises professional level staff in providing a variety of services and assistance to OKDHS customers, including applicants, Home and Community-Based (HCBS) Waiver Members, and contracted providers. Coordinates program functions and activities within the MSU and assists in directing major program activities, including Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Services and Supports, Escalated Issues, Member Resource Center/CareLine and Electronic Visit Verification, among others. Ensures continuity & efficiency of daily operational functions and ensures duties are processed within regulations and timelines, while meeting quality standards.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSA):

• Knowledge of managerial systems and practices.

• Skill in planning, coordinating and evaluating the activities of multiple work units

• Knowledge of federal and state policies, laws and regulations relating to 1915(c) HCBS waivers.

• Skill in analysis and evaluation of departmental processes and procedures to ensure implementation of best practices.

• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with peers within and outside the division, and with providers, employees, applicants and the public.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Completion of the curriculum requirements for a bachelor's degree and 3 years of professional managerial or administrative experience in public health administration, social work, guidance and counseling, intellectual disabilities, probation and parole, public administration or personnel administration; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting 1 additional year of qualifying experience for each year of the required education.

Two (2) years of HCBS waiver experience preferred.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to frequently lift up to 15 lbs. for transporting a computer.
Must have stable and reliable home internet (not a hot spot) for telework.
