Position Summary Reporting to the Director, Analytics and Insights, the Programs and Outreach Insights Analyst will collaborate with Membership, Meetings, Government Affairs & National Outreach, and Corporate & CEO Programs teams to embed data-driven decision-making throughout the teams.
This full-time position is based in CFR's New York office on a hybrid basis. CFR currently defines hybrid status as working at least three days a week onsite, with Tuesdays and Thursdays considered institutional anchor days where all staff are required to be onsite.
The major responsibilities of this position will include (but are not limited to):
- Own end to end analytics for Membership, Meetings, Government Affairs & National Outreach, and Corporate & CEO Programs-define KPIs, success metrics, and measurement frameworks; perform descriptive, cohort, funnel, and predictive analyses to surface trends, forecast engagement, and identify opportunities or risks
- Design, build, and automate dashboards and reporting pipelines in Tableau and BigQuery to provide self service analytics and deliver regular insights to domain teams
- Ensure data quality and integrity by validating and reconciling feeds from CRM, event platforms, web analytics, and email systems, and by maintaining robust, automated data pipelines
- Translate complex data into concise, actionable recommendations; partner with program managers and domain stakeholders to guide strategy, set goals, and prioritize data driven improvements
- Leverage advanced analytics tools, technologies, and methodologies to keep CFR's analytics capabilities cutting edge and aligned with industry best practices
- Serve as the analytics authority for these domains-consult on analysis approaches, and data interpretation to optimize program planning and execution
- Perform any other duties or tasks as assigned or required
Qualifications
Experience - Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 2+ years in digital analytics, preferably in the media or publishing industry.
- Experience presenting analytics findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in business intelligence (BI), website usability, user-experience optimization, conversion rate optimization, and familiarity with agile development methodologies, web analytics testing, and product management.
- Proficiency in GA4, Looker Studio, Tableau, and Google Big Query & SQL.
- Experience with Sailthru or similar EMS, and Supermetrics or equivalent data tools.
Related Skills & Other Requirements - Familiarity with Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, Core Web Vital Metrics, and Google Ads.
- Understanding of social media analytics (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, X, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in statistics and probability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Compensation and Benefits
- The full-time annual compensation range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000, depending on experience.
