Examples of Duties
  • Collect and organize data from various internal and external data sources.
  • Clean, validate, and transform raw data into usable formats.
  • Understand, extract, and compile desired data from multiple data sources/files, and create file with meaningful data.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data using statistical methods.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns and insights that support institutional decisions.
  • Perform hypothesis testing and build models for forecasting.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and visualizations to present findings.
  • Translate complex findings into clear and actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Create ad-hoc reports requested by management and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Assist in data internal and external data reporting.
  • Assist with the College's institutional accreditation process to include substantive changes
  • Assist with distributing and collecting data for institutional surveys
  • Assist with the coordination of state and federal reporting requirements
  • Support the implementation of the strategic planning process, including annual unit planning and the development of institutional goals and processes
  • Provide technical assistance for the program review process
  • Other projects as assigned
OTHERS DUTIES:

Assist with administrative duties associated with strategic planning, program reviews and SACS accreditation.

Typical Qualifications
  • High School or equivalent. An AA or AS degree or higher with an emphasis in computer programming or another information technology related field is preferred.
  • Six months of relevant experience in computer programming (another information technology related field) and 2 years administrative experience preferred
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, Python, R, or similar
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI
  • Strong understanding of statistics and data analysis techniques & concepts
  • Ability to interpret complex data and present it in a clear, actionable manner
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication skills.
