Job Purpose: Programmer 6 - Power Platform Lead will take the lead in configuring, deploying, and maintaining applications built within Microsoft's Power Platform suite-including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse. The individual will collaborate with developers and stakeholders to design effective solutions, establish robust governance processes, and ensure the stability, scalability, and security of deployed environments.
Requirements Key Responsibilities: - Data Architecture & Control:
Create and manage data models, assign security roles, manage integration points and data flows, and ensure compliance with data governance policies. - Solution Deployment & Lifecycle Management:
Oversee the delivery, testing, and promotion of Power Platform solutions across environments, while maintaining version control, backup strategies, and deployment pipelines. - Platform & Environment Oversight:
Work with enterprise IT administrators to create and manage development, test, and production environments. Ensure correct licensing, permission assignments, usage tracking, and compliance with configuration standards. - Governance Framework & Documentation:
Apply internal policies and Microsoft-recommended practices for platform governance. Conduct reviews of logs and performance metrics, maintain documentation for internal developers and end users, and help establish streamlined workflows. - Support & Issue Resolution:
Serve as a subject matter expert, assisting users with technical issues, troubleshooting app or flow errors, and addressing performance or security-related concerns across the platform. - Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:
Liaise with business users to gather and document requirements, communicate system capabilities, and encourage broader adoption of the Power Platform within the organization.
Required Skills & Experience: - Minimum of 4 years working with Power Apps, including app architecture, permission controls, and environment management.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Dataverse, covering table configuration, field creation, access roles, data modeling, and rule setup.
- At least 3 years of experience administering Power Automate, including flow creation, security settings, gateway configuration, and automation design.
- 3+ years of experience managing Azure Active Directory / Entra ID, focusing on access management, identity protection, and conditional access policies.
- 2+ years working with Power BI, including dataset management, workspace configuration, report distribution, and security practices.
- 2+ years supporting Power Platform governance, including environment strategy, auditing, and policy enforcement (e.g., DLP).
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and analyze technical issues within Power Platform environments.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical details into clear documentation and instructions.
- Proven adaptability in fast-changing environments and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- A service-oriented attitude with a focus on delivering practical, user-friendly solutions.
