Summary The incumbent works under the supervision of the Associate Chief of Staff/Education (ACOS/E), Designated Educational Official (DEO) in the Chief of Staff Service, to provide program support to meet academic affiliation requirements. Responsibilities Duties include but are not limited to: Responsible for the annual in-processing of 500+ personnel (i,e, students, residents, interns, etc.) that complete educational training program requirements at the facility. Incumbent is responsible for ensuring and maintaining accounts and remote access when needed. Aids, advises, supports, trains, and participates conflict resolution as required. Creates or collects, maintains, and processes documentation. Supports administrative duties of multiple services facility-wide. Provides remediation, advice, support, training, and conflict resolution as required. Reviews and processes of all formal requests for rotation and preceptor, verification of provided credentials and electronic archiving of approved requests. Plans, prepares, and submits budget requirements/requests. Develops and maintains a variety of databases in order to track the onboarding and tracking of medical residents and students, as well as financial transactions associated with program. Experience working with administrative policies and regulations and the ability to apply them to practices related to clinical education programs. Displays good communication skills and the ability to clearly convey information to a variety of stakeholders in a timely manner. Mastery of a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methods for assessment and improvement of program effectiveness or the improvement of complex management processes and systems.
