MELE Associates is seeking a Program Manager to support the Office of Production Modernization and Materials Management (NA-19) within the Office of Defense Programs (NA-10). NA-10 is one of the core offices of the Department of Energy's (DOE) National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA). NA-19's mission is to ensure the efficacy of the nuclear weapons stockpile by planning, executing, and monitoring the progress of all weapon-related infrastructure Major Modernization Programs that support the nuclear weapon stockpile. This role plays a critical role in ensuring the project's scope, cost and schedule result in an executable portfolio of modernization efforts. The PM is responsible for the oversight of branches within this contract including Pit Production Modernization (NA-191), Strategic Materials Production Modernization (NA-192), and Warhead Assembly and Non-Nuclear Modernization (NA-193). Key Responsibilities: Assist NA-19 with technical, administrative, and programmatic work.
Participate in meetings.
Monitor Program Execution, Schedule, and Budget.
Analyze reports, prepare documents and briefings to support technical and cost analyses.
Developing alternatives to complete associated support activities.
Supervise support staff located in DOE offices in Washington, DC, Germantown, MD, and Albuquerque, NM.
Manage or participate in projects at several laboratories and plants across the NNSA complex.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a science or engineering related field.
10+ years of experience in engineering services, technical support, and program management.
Prior experience working with Department of Energy (DOE) and or National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Office of Defense Programs.
Prior experience working with DOE's National Laboratories and Production Sites is preferred.
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DOE Q clearance.
