Contingent Upon Contract Award Position Overview:
Native American Industrial Solutions (NAIS) is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Program Manager to support a federal program in Virginia. This position is full-time, on-site, and contingent upon contract award. An active Secret Clearance is required to be considered. The Program Manager will serve as the Government's POC and provide supervision and guidance for all Contractor personnel assigned to this effort. The Program Manager must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience briefing upper management and/or upper echelons of military chains of command. The Program Manager will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the MSC C4 systems requirements in relation to the MSC missions and have an understanding of the MSC C4 needs. The Program Manager shall have experience managing and fielding large projects and have demonstrated excellent written and oral communications skills. This experience shall include substantive experience managing contracts deploying and supporting shipboard C4 system infrastructure relevant to this task order. The Program Manager shall also be familiar with Military instructions and standards as they pertain to operation of shipboard C4 systems and deployment of both hardware and software. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
Active Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification Required
B.S. in engineering, math and/or science
MS. Degree from an institution accredited by an organization recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) Required, or equivalent work experience in direct support of DOD system engineering including IT systems project management
A Master of Science in an Engineering, Math or Computer Science discipline is sufficient provided applicable work experience is also referenced
Information Technology Information Library Certified (ITIL)
Broad experience base managing and fielding large multi-million-dollar, world-wide projects, preferably those which directly support DOD in particular DoN (preferably a significant portion of the demonstrated experience within DoN or DOD)
All phases of implementation of C4 systems
Program management, design and production, logistics, installation, and test and evaluation procedures.
Coordinating and directing QA efforts in support of C4 systems
Management of a large staff in a program office environment and experience in coordinating this staff in a diverse range of tasks
Familiarity with the C4 environment, policies, and systems and with the environment, policies, and systems of other Navy/MSC relation organizations/systems
Additional Information:
This is a contingent hire, and employment is dependent on NAIS being awarded the contract.
All candidates must be U.S. citizens and hold an active Secret Clearance at time of application.
