Amentum is currently seeking a Program Manager in Northern, Virginia for a position contingent upon availability and approval. The Program Manager will supervise and manage program activities in multiple disciplines covering technical and/or non-technical areas. Such areas include engineering, design, construction, logistics, operation and maintenance of diverse integrated electronic and mechanical systems, asset management, and program documentation. Essential Responsibilities:
The Program Manager (PM) shall be responsible for overall cost, schedule, and technical performance of the program within established contract baselines. The PM shall be the primary point through which communications, work assignments, and technical direction flow between the customer and the Contractor. Additional requirements are as follows: The PM is expected to establish and maintain effective customer relationships with the goal of maintaining a mutually beneficial business relationship with the customer. The PM shall possess highly developed interpersonal, analytical and communication (written and verbal) skills and demonstrate the ability to manage in a diverse and dynamic environment with short notice taskings under high pressure situations. The PM shall be available within one hour during normal work hours to meet on-site with the customer or designated customer representative. After normal business hours, the PM shall be available within two hours, after notification, to meet on-site with the customer or designated customer representative. Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Industry recognized certification in Program and/or Project Management or Facility Management. Bachelor's Degree in Facility Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Structural), or another related field. 15 years' experience managing all aspects of building operations; five years of which shall have been with a contract of similar size and scope. Active TS/SCI Government Security Clearance with polygraph is required at time of application Preferred Position Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Managing LEED certified facilities Operations in U.S. Government facilities Development, maintenance, and reporting of facility and service metrics Contract negotiations, modifications, and other related contractual requirements Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:
Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.
