JOB SUMMARY:

Genesis Consulting has an immediate opportunity for an experienced, proactive Program Manager to lead a Federal Client's project centered around Data Management and Analytics. Join our team and leverage your expertise in cloud-based data management, governance, and analytics to transform data capabilities across Federal agencies. Work with teams that are rapidly delivering value to their customers leveraging concepts of Lean, Agile, Kanban and SAFe. Our clients are some of the world's leading companies and the candidate will be a part of challenging projects to build and support technical solutions for their needs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Program Manager will oversee project execution, ensuring high standards of quality and performance while utilizing Agile methodologies to drive process improvements.

• Serve as the primary point of contact (POC) between the contractor and government stakeholders ensuring effective communication and alignment with project objectives.

• Develop and manage project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets.

• Coordinate work across multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with FPAC policies and cloud security standards.

• Lead risk assessments and manage change processes, ensuring project adaptability to emerging challenges.

• Monitor team onboarding, knowledge transfer, and performance evaluation to ensure effective project delivery.

• Facilitate stakeholder engagement to gather requirements and support user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Identify inefficiencies within data management workflows and recommend strategies for improvement.

• Prepare and present regular project status reports and documentation to executive leadership and stakeholders.

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 8+ years of experience managing IT projects in a public sector or federal government setting.

• Proven experience in data analytics, governance, or related areas.

• Strong understanding of cloud computing, particularly AWS, and AI/ML frameworks.

• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.

• Experience with Agile methodologies and familiarity with Lean, Kanban, and SAFe principles.

MINIMUM EDUCATION:

Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Information Technology, Data Management, or another related field.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent preferred.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• U.S. Citizenship is required.

• Ability and willingness to obtain security clearance.
