Responsibilities
- In conjunction with the Assistant Dean of Graduate and Clinical Programs, Track Coordinators and the Graduate Curriculum Committee, lead the strategic design and implementation of program enhancements, ensuring alignment with industry standards, accreditation requirements, and the College's vision for nursing education excellence.
- Develop and manage comprehensive data tracking and analytics systems to monitor student progress and outcomes, enabling proactive interventions and personalized support. Serve as a key resource to students, Track Coordinators, and Graduate Advisors, working closely with the Assistant Dean of Graduate and Clinical Programs, the Associate Dean for Student Affairs, and the Assistant Director of Student Services. Lead ongoing assessments and improvements within administrative processes and student services, regularly identifying opportunities to optimize workflows, enhance student and faculty support, and increase operational efficiency.
- Partner with graduate nursing faculty coordinators across all tracks, including MSN AI, MSN Educator, Psych/Mental Health, Acute Care, Family Nurse Practitioner, and Executive Health Systems Leadership, to design data-driven strategies that support student progression, professional development, and academic performance. Collaborate with Graduate Advisors to develop and implement support systems that drive timely student progression, focusing on critical areas needed for graduate student success.
- Develop targeted retention programs that leverage internal and external resources to support student resilience, wellness, and academic achievement throughout the graduate journey.
- Design and lead orientation and onboarding programs that acquaint new students with program expectations, academic culture, and available resources. Work with Faculty Chairs of the Graduate Admission, Progression, and Graduation Committee, Scholarship Committee, and Student Affairs Committee to ensure fair and balanced representation of graduate students in College-wide decisions and processes, fostering an all-encompassing and supportive learning environment.
- Serve as the primary manager for the HRSA Nurse Faculty Loan Program (NFLP) grant, ensuring compliance, strategic fund allocation, and adherence to reporting requirements. Develop educational materials and lead informational sessions to inform eligible students about NFLP benefits, obligations, and opportunities. Oversee the DNP Project Publication and dissemination plan, ensuring regular updates and high-quality support for students completing projects.
- Collaborate with the College's Communication Director to develop and implement marketing strategies that enhance program visibility to prospective students and professional networks. Represent the College of Nursing at national and regional conferences, coordinating program booths, networking with potential students and partners, and delivering presentations on program strengths and outcomes. Coordinate and support graduate program events that engage current students, graduate alumni, and faculty, strengthening community connections and program visibility. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and four years of experience related to academic and/or student services; or a high school diploma/equivalent and experience equal to eight years. (Note: post-high school education can substitute for experience at the equivalent rate.)
